Project Title: Support to civil society to monitor progress in the reforms within Chapter 23 of EU Integration process

About the project: YUCOM will gather CSOs with different expertise around the idea to enable participation, meaningful contribution and monitoring of Serbia – EU accession negotiation within Chapter 23 in the areas of reform of judiciary, access to justice and fundamental rights as the segments of Chapter 23 that are the most important for citizens.
Taking into account that Chapter 23 will be fundamental during the accession negotiations and that the policy areas covered by them are inextricably linked and require a great deal of specific and technical knowledge, it is necessary to raise capacity of YUCOM and to form a team that will monitor the process.
Also the team will be spreading the knowledge to organizations and persons involved in the negotiations and will open the process for different interested parties. This will be done through capacity building activities for the interested for Chapter 23 and informing on all the policy issues that YUCOM addresses during the implementation phase. Special attention will be on organizations in local communities, as well as on local and national media.
