YUCOM participated in the event Internet Freedom Meet in Belgrade

From June 26 to 29, the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights – YUCOM, actively participated in the four-day conference, Internet Freedom Meet, hosted by BIRN in Belgrade, Serbia. The event brought together journalists, activists, and tech enthusiasts working in digital rights, featuring 18 esteemed speakers, all united in their commitment to upholding internet freedom and promoting a safer online environment.
On the second day of the conference, the spotlight was on the pressing issue of online-to-offline violence. Joining the discussion were two remarkable women: Katarina Golubovic, president of the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights – YUCOM, and Hristina Piskulidis, a dedicated Communications Officer at ASTRA Anti-trafficking Action.
With their extensive expertise in human rights advocacy and combating human trafficking, respectively, they shared invaluable perspectives on the critical topic.
