Speaking at the webinar: User-Friendly Courts

Milan Filipović, Director of Research at the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights (YUCOM) was one of the speakers at the webinar “User-Friendly Courts”. Organized by the International Association of Court Administration (IACA), the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), Millennium Partners, and the East-West Management Institute, this event aimed to explore strategies for establishing accessible and inclusive justice systems.

During the webinar, Milan Filipović shared his expertise on Serbia’s free legal system and its impact on ensuring access to justice for all. He highlighted the achievements of the “Open Doors of Judiciary” project, promoting transparency and public engagement by providing open access to the judiciary. Filipović emphasized that courts should play an active role in the free legal aid system, ensuring fair and equitable access to justice.

The Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights (YUCOM) remains dedicated to advancing inclusive justice and fostering a more accessible legal system.
