ON ATTACKS AND PRESSURE AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS IN SERBIA
The Solidarity for the Rights of All Network presents the Newsletter # 3 on attacks and pressure against activists. The team documents attacks and pressures on the Incident Map through research of publicly available information and interviews with the victims. During 2020, 100 attacks and pressures were registered on the Map, both against those who deal with the protection of human rights, as well as those who found themselves in that role due to their actions and suffered consequences. The Solidarity for the Rights of All Network is led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights – YUCOM, Belgrade Center for Security Policy and the People’s Parliament. During April 2021, at least seven attacks and pressures were registered.

| In May 9, 2021, the Victory Day (over fascism), Cultural Center Magacin and the Creative Educational Center for Persons with Disabilities (KEC) were the targets of attacks by unknown perpetrators who sprayed the walls in front of their workplace with fascist symbols. One of the inscriptions also contained a threat to activists (Cowards 20 h 50 minutes waiting for you). Users of KC Magacin repainted the graffiti. The Don’t Let Belgrade D(r)own Initiative also reacted to this incident, demanding a reaction from the competent institutions to the fascist threats and vandalism of the Cultural Center Magacin and the Creative Educational Center for Persons with Disabilities (KEC). As it is stated: “This is not the first time that fascist symbols appear around this area, but it is the first time that neo-fascists directly address the artists who create in this area, with a message on the wall.” Criminal charges will be filed regarding this incident | |

NOTICE OF CALL RESULTS
| PROGRAM SOLIDARITY FOR THE RIGHTS OF ALL – SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS IN LOCAL ENVIRONMENTS 2021/2022 The five-member commission decided on supported projects within the Solidarity for the Rights of All Program – Support to Human Rights Defenders in Local Communities 2021/2022. The total number of received project proposals under LOT 1 is 69 and within LOT 2 – 5. In accordance with the project evaluations and allocated funds, the Commission has decided to support 11 projects under LOT 1 and 3 projects under LOT 2. We congratulate the winners and thank all the organizations that took the time to participate in this process.
