He is in the third year of undergraduate degree at Whitman College in Washington State. He is a politics major in the pre-law track, and his academic interests include international law, political theory, and peace and conflict studies. He wanted to intern with YUCOM due to active and engaged approach towards human rights advocacy—the way they represent victims of human rights violations before the court, actively participate draft model laws, in order to continuously  work towards establishing justice and rule of law in Serbia. At YUCOM he was researching the impact, i.e. role of trial verdicts on judicial reform and efforts transitional justice efforts.
