Kristina Todorovic graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law with a degree in International Law. She has been working as a lawyer since 2007. By 2009, she had already passed the bar examination, and has subsequently been a practicing attorney since 2010.
She has been a member of YUCOM’s legal team since 2011, as a provider of free legal aid. She has represented victims of human rights violations before national courts, as well as before the European Court of Human Rights. She won the first ever case in Serbia where hate motivation was taken into account as an aggravating factor. She has been engaged as a UN expert for the protection of persons with mental disabilities.
In addition, she is a member of the board of directors of the international EIN network, which takes on tracking the implementations of verdicts delivered by the European Court of Human Rights, and she has actively participated in numerous seminars and trainings in the domain of human rights.
