Ana Jankovic Jovanovic was born on 10th of November 1987 in Belgrade. At the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law, she gained Diploma in Law (LLB) in 2011, which was followed by a year working as a law clerk in the law office Petrović in Belgrade.
In 2012/2013 she did Master studies in Human Rights in London, and after defended dissertation with distinction on the topic „What are some of the main International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia issues concerning fairness and legality?“, she gained LLM in Human Rights degree at Birkbeck, University of London.
Ana attended many international and national conferences and law schools, including „Human Rights law school“ – Belgrade Centre for Human Rights, Belgrade; „L’art, le droit et la paix” – L’Univeriste de la Paix, Caen, France; „English legal methods” – University of Cambridge, UK; „Prohibition of discrimination of persons with disabilities” – University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law; „La reconciliation nationale” – L’Univeriste de la Paix, Caen, France…
She started working for YUCOM in september 2013 as part of the human rights legal aid team, but she is also engaged in project activities.
Ana speaks fluent English and knows basic French.
