The Map of Incidents “Solidarity for the Rights of All” was designed and launched by the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights – YUCOM in 2020, together with the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) and the Association People’s Parliament, as part of the project “Defending the Defenders” with the support of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia. The project lasted from 2020 to 2023, and for the first time it provided comprehensive statistics of attacks on all individuals, organizations and informal groups that ensure that the human rights of all citizens are respected and stand up in defense of the public interest.

The Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights YUCOM, with the support of partners, continues to record physical attacks, threats, attacks on property, attacks through means of electronic communication, as well as all legal actions that can be considered as an attack or pressure (e.g. initiation of legal proceedings). Help us convey what issues activists in Serbia are facing, so that we can insist on building a solidary society in which those who stand up to defend others will not be the target of attacks!
